What games would suit Project Natal?

Post by admin on Sun Jun 13, 2010 5:33 pm

I personally think that shooters shouldn't be made Natal encorporated, as it's kind of wierd pointing at something that doesn't exist. I don't think it would work as well if they made it so that Project Natal could be used with like Call of Duty. It just wouldn't have the same effect.

The best games for Natal are going to be the fighting games, like Teken or Street Fighter because at least then the gamer will be able to feel part of the game and not just sat down using a controller.

Even though Fable 3 is rumoured to be compatible with Natal, I won't be using it, as I feel an RPG cannot really benefit from Natal, as you wouldn't be able to walk, and simple actions would be difficult, or pointless (such as purchasing items or weaponry).

Well I've had my say what do you think?

I agree that fighting games are the way to go with this technology. Games like Fallout 3 are a mix of many different fighting types. And how would you open the menu. If it's voice controlled then I would hate having to talk to an inanimate object.

Ye I wouldn't fancy talking to my 360. I also don't think this would work well in rooms like mine as the tv is high on the wall and there isn't a lot of room in my bedroom for me to move about in

I remember that!

Obviously this is like prehistoric gaming technology, but you know...

That game was so awesome!

i only think it'll work on either tecken, or basic sports games because theres no way you could make a decent shooter out of it. But i think its more uited for entertainment purposes like movies and general stuff rather than actual games
